ABC, CBS, MSNBC, Fox News, and newspapers throughout our country are hoodwinking us about our economy. In their short sighted endeavors to elect yes-men candidates to high political office, the major news outlets have sold the American people into a brave new slavery. The media black outs seem to be working, so it is up to the internet to inform America about how we are on a knife’s edge, tottering over the abyss.

In earlier posts, I established that Ron Paul was our best bet for restoring our Constitution.

Now I’m dealing with the number one concern in American’s minds for the current presidential election, the economy. I’ve established that we’ve spent the last seventy years digging our own grave’s, economically speaking.

And then I spent several posts demonstrating the flawed economic thinking of the other candidates. Besides my blogs, I’ve also found that gunnyg@wordpress.com, and trutherator@wordpress.com provide insights into the various candidate’s perspectives.

So now its time to tell you five ways how Ron Paul can revitalize our economy.

1. He was informed enough to predict many of the current problems in our economy.

There are several videos that document how Ron Paul predicted, with uncanny accuracy, the pressing problems we find ourselves facing.

Now, you have to ask yourself, were any of the other candidates making these predictions a decade ago? If you Google “Obama predicts housing collapse” you get…..videos about Ron Paul predicting the housing collapse.  The same is true of all the other candidates. You can find no evidence of them making such predictions because they simply didn’t. All of them were taken by surprise. All of them except Ron Paul. So, what does he know that we don’t?

2. He knows that we’ve got to dramatically cut spending now.

It is fairly well known that Ron Paul is promising to cut a trillion (!) dollars from the budget….in his first year in office. He plans on cutting his own salary by roughly 90%!

Compare this to the other candidates, who will either have cuts in the billions, or not cut spending at all….

Its hard to find good information on Obama’s budget (so much for transparency), but the best estimates say he will also cut a trillion….over ten years time…..

Its been a little difficult for me to find solid figures for the other candidates. I think that Santorum has the most solid information on him, but the cuts still seem substantially lower than Ron Paul’s…or Obama’s, for that matter….

And if you’ve been following this blog (or even just following the news….) then you understand that we are trillions in debt, and our economy won’t support that kind of debt for much longer.

And just what has the government been spending its money on? Basically, Big Brother has spent trillions of your dollars keeping you reigned in….

3. The government has become Juggernaut. Its too big, and has its hand in too many cookie jars.

I’m afraid that this one seems self evident to me, but I realize I must back it up a little bit, for those that are fans of big government.

The government has been growing at an alarming rate since W. W. I. The Great Wars required a gargantuan national effort, and only the government was big enough to pull it off. But, while things did scale back after the Wars, they were never scaled back to prewar conditions. And the government, having gotten a taste of power, soon imbibed more and more of that sweet wine. And now Washington is drunk with Bacchanalian intensity.

And they haven’t backed off the sauce since Obama took over. In the last ten years, government jobs have increased ten percent, private sector jobs, one percent. Private sector salaries have stagnated, while the government has given itself fat bonuses. The average private sector salary is $61,000 per year. The average government salary…..hold on to your wallets….is $123, 000. I knew I should have taken a government job…..
